Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with a design and manufacturing company based in Bath. Our client is well established manufacturer of aluminium glazing, doors facades and curtain walling to the Construction Industry. Due to on-going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for a CAD Curtain Wall Designer with previous experience in the facade and aluminium curtain walling design sector.

For this role, you will be working closely with the with architects and main contractors to produce elevation, section and preliminary drawings for construction. You will also produce general arrangement drawings in AutoCAD for approval as well as preparing fabrication drawings and produce CNC files in EluCad for production.

Previous Experience

• Knowledge of the aluminium commercial environment as well as structural design.
• Relevant NVQ/HND qualifications.
• AutoCAD/EluCad experience
• You will need at least 3 years’ experience within the curtain wall and façade industry.

You will be working as part of a team and excellent communication and coordination skills are required.

Working hours

Monday – Friday (1 hour lunch break)

Holidays

22 days per holiday year plus all Bank Holidays (8 days)
