Job description

Our client is an exciting and growing company specialising in architectural glazing for the commercial building market. They are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to work directly with our clients Managing Director on prestigious curtain walling projects.

You will be enthusiastic, capable and able to work independently. In return, you will be offered great opportunity for career development.

The Role:

• Production of G.A. and detail design drawings
• Creating cost effective designs to increase the project’s profitability
• Managing the design team, particularly external consultants
• Preparing detailed material schedules
• Liaising with the team, clients, suppliers and external consultants

The Candidate:

• Experience in designing curtain wall systems
• Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD
• Knowledge of SolidWorks is desirable
• Ability to work quickly and accurately with good attention to detail.
