Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with a construction design and installation company based in Knowsley who specialise in the design, supply and install of composite wall & ceiling panels. They service sectors that require foodsafe, temperature controlled and fire rated enclosures. Our client operate nationally, working for large UK main contractors on a wide variety of project schemes.

Due to continued company growth, we are assisting them in recruiting an additional CAD Technician to join their existing design team.

For this role, you will be using 2D AutoCAD to produce construction drawings for the site installation teams. This will include, liaising with client / architect / structural engineer to obtain latest drawings and then creating Project Design Folders (electronic and paper) and downloading drawings from external portals.

You will then produce 2D plans / sections / elevations and details. These drawings would then need to be reviewed by the Project Manager. You will then assist the Project Manager with material procurement and attend design meetings and site surveys when required.

Due to the nature of the role, you must have the ability to work autonomously and manage your own time as well as prioritise workflows.
