Job description

Our client is a market leader in the design, installation and servicing of commercial kitchens. Based in Bradford they are an award winning, entrepreneurial company and are currently looking for a CAD Designer to join our growing design team. Key Responsibilities

Working as a key member of the design team you will have the following responsibilities:

• provide high quality design concept and layout drawings, including mechanical and electrical service details, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and timely completion
• liaise with equipment suppliers to clarify technical and other queries
• discuss design issues with sales and project managers and working together to find practical solutions
• support the Design Manager and assist in establishing best practice
• produce estimates/quotations based upon the layouts you have designed
• interface and communicate with other departments including sales and project managements
• ensure all department and personal KPI’s are achieved
• help to ensure that internal and external systems and processes are continually reviewed and improved upon.

Attributes and Skills

We are seeking a self-motivated individual that can demonstrate the following:

• fully conversant in the use of 2D AutoCAD (Revit preferable)
• experience with commercial kitchen design
• experience with using 3d modelling tools (preferable)
• experience in estimating/quote creation (preferable)
• must have a keen eye for detail
• be able to work to tight deadlines
• strong communication and interpersonal skills
