Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with an independent and employee-owned multi-disciplinary practice with three offices around the UK. They specialise in integrating residential and commercial architecture, engineering, planning and surveying for all development needs.

Due to ongoing high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for a Civil Engineering CAD Technician based out of their Bedford office. You will be working as part of the Engineering team to prepare CAD drawings to support planning applications as well as to support s38, s104, and s278 applications. You will also prepare engineering base plans to support the detailed design of sites.

You will be liaising directly with clients, architects and local authorities and a good personable approach is required.

You will be be working with AutoCAD and MicroStation. Previous experience with AutoCAD is essential but training can be provided with MicroStation.

Previous experience of civil engineering, particularly roads and drainage within the residential sector would be highly beneficial.
