Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a turnkey MEP contractor & lighting manufacturer. Our client offers mechanical, electrical, & public health design, supply and installation, primarily in retail, industrial, commercial, banking, hospitality, logistics and distribution.
Our client is based in Staverton and is looking to take on an additional office based CAD Technician. The role will see you supporting the whole design process for all projects from pre-construction to working drawings. You will be working with AutoCAD and Revit to create technical based MEP designs. You will also be in regular liaison with clients to manage expectations and design deadlines. There will also be a requirement to attend meeting with clients onsite and via video streams. A full drivers licence is required.
You will be preparing designs from concept through to construction as well as supporting Pre-Construction team administration for design and build projects. Finally, you will be helping collate information and proposal documentation for tender submittals.
For this role, you will ideally have electrical & mechanical design experience but this is not essential. Excellent AutoCAD skills are required and experience with Revit software is beneficial.
