Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a sales and project management of specialist machinery based in Leicester. Our client has been established over 30 years and work on highly bespoke solutions for the waste sector. Due to an increase in orders, we are assisting them in recruiting for an AutoCAD Technician to join their design team.
On a daily basis, this role will see you working closely with the sales and project management teams to carry out detailed site survey of existing sites and then create general arrangement and fabrication drawings in AutoCAD. You will be designing and detailing layouts and components and previous experience using AutoCAD for technical drawings is required. You will need to check accuracy and quality of drawings.
For this role, you will ideally have a background or qualification in engineering either HNC or similar. Some experience in steelwork fabrication would be beneficial but excellent AutoCAD experience is required.
You will be working in a small team so good communication and customer relation skills (verbal, written and telephone) is also required.
