Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a specialist manufacturing company based in Keighley. The company has onsite design and manufacturing and due to on-going high demand are looking to recruit an additional CAD Technician to join their design team. You will be working closely with architects, developers and contractors to create bespoke and off the shelf cast stone products.
Your role will see you initially, checking customer purchase orders in line with company procedures. You will then creates AutoCAD drawings for customer approval and ensure the approvals are received from the client. You will be working closely with the manufacturing team to ensure the work can be carried out in an efficient and timely manner. You will be be raising production schedules in time to meet allocated production slots ensuring that adequate time is provided for mould making/casting/curing, etc.
As you will be dealing with bespoke and one-off requirements, such as; structural reinforcement/external moulds/bespoke fixings, you will need to ensure the correct procedures are followed.
This is an exciting role and a previous background in the manufacturing / technical detailing sector is required.
