Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with a manufacturing company specialising in architectural glazing. Our client manufacturs, installs and maintains quality architectural glass products and has clients within the retail, hospitality and commercial sectors. They are based in Halifax but work on projects all over the UK. Due to on-going high demand are currently looking for an experienced CAD Technician to work under the Director and provide design and manufacturing drawings.

You will be be responsible for project procurement as well as liasising with suppliers and all aspects of the company including the shop floor, sales staff and surveyors.

You will be using AutoCAD on a daily basis to create detailed technical drawings for manufacture. There will be the requirement for occasional site surveys to both conduct surveys and ensure projects are installed as per the drawings and clients requirements.

Most of your work will be in the retail sector and you will be designing bespoke glass cladding for walls as well as multi storey glass and steel lift shafts.

You will be working closely with the company director and excellent communication skills are required.
