Job description
CADagency are delighted to be working with a Design, Fabrication and Installation company based in Grays, Essex. The company specialises in Architectural Metalwork including balconies, Glass and Steel balustrades, staircases, handrails and bespoke metalwork projects. There are currently 12 on-site fabricators and over 40 site fitters in the business with a Senior Designer Manager.
Due to on-going high demand their is a current requirement for a full time, permanent in-house AutoCAD Technician.
For this role, you will ideally have experience using AutoCAD in a manufacturing environment and a background with Architectural Metalwork. A central part of your role will be creating accurate fabrication drawings to be used by their in house fabricators. You will be taking GA’s for approval to clients & Fabrication DWG’s for manufacture ;

- Balustrades & Railings
- Stair Core Hand-Rail
- Secondary Fix Structural works
- Gates (Pedestrian, Garden & Vehicle)
- Bolt-on Balconies
- Frame-work
There is the opportunity for an immediate start with a salary range from £28,000 – £35,000.
There is on-site parking and the office is just 20 minutes walk to Grays train station.
