Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with Chartered Building Surveyors who focus on Rights of Light and Neighbourly Matters. Due to growing demand, they are looking for a CAD Technician to join there small but expanding team.

For this role, you will be creating highly accurate and realistic 3D AutoCAD models for Rights of Light surveys as well as Daylight and Sunlight impact assessments. You will be Initially working from Point Cloud Data and contextual models to produce accurate 3D representation of sites and their surrounding neighbours. Accuracy is the most important factor as the exact distance between buildings, window size, window recess, window overhangs and even brick placement are vitally important.

You must be able to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines, communicating regularly with surveyors and architects. As a CAD technician, you will be working on projects of various sizes.

You must be familiar with AutoCAD and Ideally will have some experience producing 3D models in AutoCAD and have the ability to communicate effectively to both Clients and work colleagues, attention to detail is a very important part of this role.
