Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with design and manufacturing company based in Leighton Buzzard. Our client specialises in bespoke lifting and height safety equipment for the industrial and rail sectors. Due to on-going high demand we are assisting them in recruiting for a CAD Design Engineer with experience in the manufacturing sector.

You will be working as part of a small team reporting to the Design Director and be involved in many aspects of the process. You will get to liaise directly with clients and conduct site surveys then create bespoke design and technical drawings. This will be followed by ensuring projects are manufactured correctly and communicating with any external fabrication companies.

You will need existing experience with either Inventor or SolidWorks and our client is happy to use either software as per your preference.

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as well as a good understanding of the manufacturing process.
