Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with a design and manufacturing business based in Hayes. Our client specialise in Street Furniture, Architectural Metalwork, Signage, Walkways and Cycle Storage. Due to on-going high demand we are assisting them in recruiting for a CAD Design Engineer with previous experience in the metalwork / sheet metal sector.

For this role, you will be joining an existing design team in an office based role. You will need to have previous work experience in a design role using either SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor. You will be working on high-profile projects to deliver innovative designs as well as technical drawings in line with the clients requirements and the companies product ranges.

You will work within the design engineering department and be responsible for the design and production of CAD manufacturing drawings for sheet metal and fabricated metal products.

Due to the nature of the work, you will need excellent skills with with metal section and sheet metal materials and fabrication/manufacturing processes. Any electro-mechanical design experience would be beneficial.
