Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a sheetmetal fabrication company that specialises in supplies for the commercial catering equipment sector based in Rossendale. They are a small but established company with over 25 years experience in manufacturing high quality stainless steel equipment. Due to on-going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for a CAD / CAM Programmer to help grown their manufacturing team.
For this role, as a Sheet Metal CNC Programmer you will assist in the creation of CNC Programs that will be produced on their Trumpf Tru Punch 1000.
You will ideally have worked with SolidWorks and / or TruTops BOOST and previous experience with Nesting for Trumpf equipment would be highly beneficial. Training will be provided for the specifics of the role but previous experience in the sheetmetal manufacturing sector is required.
On a daily basis, you will be required to carry out the following tasks
- Liaising with Production as required
- Keeping Production logs updated
- Working with the Punch and folding Machine operators to optimise performance
- Drive down material usage
- Maximise Punch and folding cycle times
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 08.00 to 16:30
Optional paid overtime available during busy periods.
