Job description
CADagency is working with a Staircase and Balustrade design and manufacture company based in Dudley, West Midlands.
They are currently looking to employ a CAD Designer/draughtsman with experience conducting site surveys. Their projects are based all around the UK and for this role you will be required to conduct site surveys on a regular basis. Once accurate measurements have been taken you be required to draw up accurate manufacturing drawings.
The main projects you will be working on will be Balustrade, staircases, handrails and balconies. The client manufactures in a variety of materials including stainless steel, glass and steel wire.
There is a company pool car that you will have access to for site visits. For using the car you are required to be over 25 with no more than 6 points on your licence.
You will be joining a small closely knit team along side one of there member of the design team. You will be out going, able to motivate yourself and capable of working to strict deadlines. This is ideally an immediate start role and you will be using AutoCAD 2010 or 2017 in 2D. There is no requirement for 3D modelling.
The working hours are 08:00 – 16:30. Their is on site parking.
For the right candidate the salary range would go up to £35,000.
