Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with an Architectural practise based in Leicester. The team is made up of architects, project managers and interior designers. They provide a full range of architectural and interior design services in all sectors, from residential to commercial, public and private, across the UK. Due to on going high demand they are currently looking to take on an additional Architectural Technician to support the Senior Architects with creating detailed design and technical drawings. For this role, as a Architectural Technician, previous experience within the UK Architectural sector is essential. You will ideally have a full drivers licence and your own car to be able to attend sites for survey and progress reporting.
On a daily basis you will be undertaking the following tasks:
- Preparing design drawings and specifications for new build and refurbishment projects to a range of property types
- Preparing existing floor plans and elevations from surveys
- Creating 3D models in AutoCAD and/or Revit for schemes ranging in size from small residential scenarios to large inner city developments
You will ideally have the following Skills & Experience:
- Hold a BSc (Hons)/CIAT (or equivalent qualification/experience)
- Experience in the residential, retail and commercial sectors
- PC literate including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Revit
