Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working alongside one of the UK’s leading arboricultural and ecological consultancies. Our client provides biodiversity, tree and bat surveys and works closely with architects, property developers, planning consultants and home owners around the UK. They aim to provide an excellent, fast and cost effective service and are looking to a CAD Technician to join the team on that mission.
For this role, you will have a keen interest in biodiversity and arboriculture as well as excellent AutoCAD skills. As past of your role, you will be writing reports so an excellent command of English is essential.
This role will be home based with the opportunity to come to their offices in Chester once a month.
On a daily basis you will be working on site survey data ranging from tree surveys, ecology surveys and GIS data to turn them into highly accurate CAD files plotting tree sizes and locations. You will then be creating the necessary reports for either planning consent or protected species reports.
Training will be given on the specifics of ecology & arboriculture although being approachable, friendly and hard working is required.
