Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a multi -disciplinary environmental consultancy based in Harlow. The company specialise in Arboriculture, Ecology and Landscape Design and work closely with the UK’s leading land & asset managers, planning & development bodies and home owners. Due to on-going company growth we are assisting them in recruiting for a CAD Technician to work as part of their existing technical department.
This role will see you working closely with internal and external consultants and surveys to produce tree survey drawings, landscape architectural drawings and 3D models. You will be working primarily with AutoCAD but experience with VectorWorks would be highly beneficial too.

On a daily basis you will be working as part of the technical team assisting in all departments within the company. You will be producing 2D AutoCAD drawings as well as 2D & 3D VectorWorks drawings to support the planning departments. You will create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by consultants and designers extracting the required information to assist with our environmental role.
As key aspect of the role will be liaising with other members of the design teams as well as consultants so an out-going personality is required.
Due to the location of their offices, you will need to have a full UK driving licence
The company is trailing a flexible work schedule where you will be working from the office 3 days a week and from home 2 days a week.
Requirements
- Proficient using AutoCAD
- Proficient using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and illustrator
Desirable
- Experience of Vectorworks, would be highly desirable
- Understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM)
