Job description
CADagency is pleased to be working with a fire protection and security systems specialist based in Orpington, Kent. The company provides a full range of service including design, installation and maintenance. Due to continued growth they are looking to take on an additional 2D AutoCAD Technician to support the engineers and sales team.
For this role you will be working with AutoCAD LT 2018 and working off .dwg and .pdf files provided by the client. You will then be required to draw up wire diagrams, as installed drawings, schematics, wire charts and hatch areas. There will also be the occasional requirement to produce new designs from scratch but you will mostly be working off existing drawings and engineers reports. There is the requirement for the occasional site visit to measure up too. All work is carried out in accordance with British and European Standards and any previous work experience with BS would be ideal.
This is a permanent role with the possibility of an immediate start. The working hours will be 09:00 – 17:00. The client has got on site parking and you should ideally have a full, clean UK drivers licence. You will also receive 20 days holiday + bank holidays although you will be required to take three day for Christmas break.
To be considered for this role you will be required to present a portfolio of your 2D AutoCAD work.
