Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a specialist Yacht Design and Architectural company based in Chelsea, London. With clients ranging from high-net worth individuals to well know personalities. Projects include sailing boats from 12 – 90m all the way to mega yachts. They are able to design the exterior and interior elements of the boats and specialise in providing an extreme attention to deal in every design they create.
The Company Director is the lead Architect who is currently creating hand drawn sketches with clients and then sending them back to the office to be drawn up on CAD. The software they use is AutoCAD, Rhino and VRay.
There is now a requirement for a Senior Designer or Design Manager who would be capable of running a project and the design studio as well as provide support and assistance to the French office.
You will have previous experience working with Yacht exterior design as opposed to interior. It is also imperitive that you come from a sailing background.
For this role you will need to be presentable and have excellent attention to detail it is vital that you have worked in a client facing role in the past. You will ideally have worked in the yacht exteriors sector before and have an understanding of boat and their layouts.
In return, you will be working in beautiful, central office in Chelsea with a portfolio of projects sure to impress.
Speaking French would be an advantage as you will be reporting to the Director who is French.
The working hours are 09:00 – 18:00 with statutory holiday entitlement.
