Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a fast growing, award winning lodge manufacturer with design and manufacturing facilities in North Wales. We are assisting them in recruiting for a Revit Design Manager to join their small design team and report to the Design Director.
This role will see you working closely with the Sales, Project Management and Manufacturing teams to take projects from client briefs through to manufacturing drawings. You will be working solely on Revit working off the companies existing product range as well as creating bespoke and modern designs.
The lodges you will be designing are modularly constructed with timber frames. Previous experience in the construction or manufacturing sector is required and any experience with modular housing or timber frame buildings would be highly advantageous.
You will have direct involvement with the design process and autonomy in creating new lodge designs for launch to market.
On a daily basis, you will be producing technical and production build drawings for timber frame lodges to be built in-house. You will also create 3D visuals and animations for client presentations although there is the opportunity to learn on the job with regards to 3D visualisation.
You will also be working on the interior design aspect of a project, liaising with the interior design team to create new ideas. Once a design has been approved, you will be attending pre-production meetings with members of team to scrutinise specifications and plans prior to submission to production team.
