Job Description

Our client is a  retail design and point of sale manufacturing company that have been functioning for over a 100 years. They supply a number of major retailers all over the UK.

They are looking to hire someone who has extensive experience in Shop equipment and Point of Sale. You will also need to be fully capable of using AutoCAD plus one or two other design packages. As well as  possessing an above average visualization technique. Equally important will be the ability to produce photo-realistic 3D illustrations of architectural interiors, exteriors, products, transport images as well as using Photoshop.

Furthermore, you must have a background in creating highly detailed 3D models of buildings, interior room spaces, furniture and other amorphous shaped objects. Likewise you will need to fully understand 3D Studio Max and Mental Ray/Vray and have the ability to set up scene lighting for exterior or interior scenes. Possessing some commercial experience in producing animations will also be a must.  The ability to interpret a material choice and to produce a highly convincing texture with Photoshop/Illustrator is also essential.

Likewise it is vital to have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and to hold a very high level of English, as you will need to communicate effectively with client teams and colleagues. There is also a flat hierarchical structure where team work is an imperative to ensure that work is well produced and within the time-frames.

To apply for this role, apart from your CV, you must have a strong portfolio ideally from concept development sketches through to final visuals and photographs. Similarly it is necessary that you show the details of the strategic thinking behind the project and the commercial results etc.
