Job description
Our client is a long established trailer and commercial vehicle bodybuilder based in Coleorton, Leicestershire.
Job Specification
Experienced in Autocad LT as a minimum and preferably capable of also working with 3D design packages such as Autocad Inventor or Solidworks (3D however is not essential).
You should have good working mechanical engineering knowledge and be capable of calculating beam and moments in formulae. You should ideally be qualified to HND or BSC Mechanical Engineering Standard. A knowledge of commercial vehicles would be an advantage but not essential. The job involves creating trailer and body designs and creating component drawings for the workshops to manufacture to.
The successful applicant needs to be self reliant and capable of working on their own initiative. The applicant would need to have their own transport has the company is not on a regular bus route.
The working hours are 9.00am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
