Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a specialist arboricultural consultancy who offer advisory and project management services. Their key skills are the management of trees on large estates, development sites, golf courses and in historic landscapes. They provide specialist advice, draw up work recommendations, and project manage the delivery of work.
Due to an exciting new venture we are assisting them in recruiting a CAD Technician to deliver projects to assist with carbon lock-up and biodiversity enhancement.
For this role, you will be responsible for supporting the arboricultural and environmental team in the production of drawings, surveys and reports, as well as other administrative tasks. The role will see you creating arboricultural and landscape drawings in AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator. This will include development-related tree plans, landscape masterplans, historic landscape restoration plans. You will then co-ordinate, format, check and produce reports.
You will be assisting with tree plotting, masterplans, planting designs and schedules.
Finally, you will undertake administrative tasks including updating filing systems, liaison with IT support team.
Previous experience or interest in trees and landscape design is highly beneficial as well as previous experience in the use of GIS software.
Working hours will be 37.5 hours per week. Working hours have some flexibility by agreement.
