Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with an industry-leading, system driven site design specialist who create highly detailed CAD plans, Topographical Surveys and Mark-Outs for large scale events and festivals.
Due to on-going growth, we are assisting them in recruiting for a CAD Designer with excellent AutoCAD skills. Any experience with SketchUp and Twin Motion would be beneficial as these are the other software used within the team. For this role you will need to be passionate about the events industry. You will have remote work, office days, team meet ups and onsite day’s. You will get to learn how large events are put together from planning phases and get the opportunity to attend some of the UK’s largest events.
Your main role will be producing high quality, great looking and technically accurate site plans for events of all sizes and types. You will need an advanced knowledge of the functionality and shortcuts within AutoCAD and get the plans working smart and looking great. There is the opportunity to learn new skills within the role and development is central to the company and role.
You will need to understand the events you’re designing. To gain this knowledge, you’re going to be joining the team on site carrying out surveys and get to be a part of the production and operations team. You need to enjoy a hands-on approach, from advance liaison and site visits through to being onsite helping deliver the events.
