CAD Technician – Rainscreen Cladding

Job description

Our client has been designing rainscreen cladding and exterior cladding systems for over twenty years. They are focused on staying ahead of the curve and invest in anticipating ‘what next’, listening to architectural and installer customers.

For this position you will be required to make an immediate contribution to a busy technical office with:

• Responding to technical queries from Architects and Façade installers
• Assisting with the production of static calculations
• Opening and interpreting AutoCAD drawings
• Preparing system overlay drawings
• Supporting the field sales team
• Visiting construction sites to check installations and to give advice on best use of our clients systems
• Providing training of best installation practices
• Assisting with new product development initiatives
