Job description
CADagency are delighted to be working with a global manufacturer of architectural building products. They have been established over 70 years and their products include door and wall protectors, entrance flooring, architectural louvres and solar shading.
Due to on-going high demand for their products they are currently looking to take on an additional CAD Technician to expand their Technical Team. For this role you will work closely with designers, end-users and contractors in various market sectors including healthcare and pharmaceuticals. You will be supporting the sales team and working with customers to co-develop innovative new products.
You will contribute and participate in all stages of a project from concept to construction. You will be managing incoming and outgoing project drawings and assist in the development & preparation of scheme designs, detail specific project requirements and contribute to the successful implementation of projects.
The role requires a range of competencies. Those include, Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit. You will be expected to have previous experience with some of these software but training will be provided for
the third. You will also need a good understanding of MS Office. As you will be liaising with other team members and clients, good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
For this role, you will ideally have previous experience in architectural/construction sector and be used
to dealing with main contractors and architects drawings. Knowledge and experience of Building Information Modelling and Revit would be an advantage.
