Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a privately owned property development company based in East London. Due to a recent expansion in projects there is a current requirement for an additional Architectural Technician to join their design team. This is a permanent role and as a Architectural Technician, will require you to have extensive previous UK work experience with construction detailing of residential developments.
The current projects you will be creating construction details for a new development of 118 apartments, a new school development and a community centre all based in South London. There are also many on-going and upcoming projects you will be involved with on a daily basis.
For this role as a Architectural Technician, you will be expected to have a good understanding of the Architectural process and building regulations as well as an excellent understanding of AutoCAD. Your work will mainly focus on creating 2D plans, technical drawings and plan for planning application purposes as well as for contractors on site.
As an Architectural Technician you will be expected to be able to work well within a team and have high levels of communication skills to enable you to liaise with external contractors, engineer and builders as well as other members of the design team.
The companies standard working hours are 09:00 – 17:30 although there is a degree of flexibility with regards to starting earlier and finishing earlier.
