CADagency is delighted to be working with a global leader in measurement instrumentation for industrial process engineering. Their products include flow, level, pressure, temperature sensors for the chemical, food & beverage, life sciences, power & energy and mining sectors.
Due to on-going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for an additional CAD Designer with previous experience in the mechanical design sector. For this role, you will be working with AutoCAD and Inventor to produce mechanical detailed drawings, electrical schematics, STEP files and general arrangement drawings for customer review.
This will also include preparing detailed manufacturing drawings for CoC production.
As a CAD Designer, you will also liaise with other departments including Project Coordinators, Tendering, CoC and Business Development staff to ensure that the drawings meet the customer needs. You will provide support to other departments and customers as deemed appropriate by the Team Leader Project Coordination.
To be considered for this role, you will have experience in Mechanical Engineering ideally with a HND / HNC or equivalent.
On a daily basis, you will create manufacturing / production / fabrication drawings as well as 3D modelling and detailed part drawing. You will create exploded assembly views and animations.
Finally, you will create step file and GA drawings for individual component drawings and section views.
