You will then produce technical documentation using AutoCAD, including kit lists, construction drawings, component sections, typical 4 views to communicate critical information to clients and fabricators.
Once a design has been agreed with the client, you will collaborate with the build team to identify key information for the build pack and create standardised processes and templates to ensure smooth and reliable installations and reduce errors on site.
It is essential that you produce clear, precise, and well-organised production and assembly drawings to communicate design intent effectively to fabricators with awareness on material tolerances and limitations.
You will also be involve in organising the material resource library and maintaining the technical database.
For sales purposes, you will support the new business team, producing detailed models in Sketchup to the required brief to be costed up and added to client presentations.
For this role, you will ideally have a degree in Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related discipline. It is essential that you have excellent skills using SketchUp Pro, AutoCAD for drafting in both 2D and 3D formats.
