CADagency is delighted to be working with a well-established retail interior fit-out and refurbishment company based in Hull. We are assisting them in recruiting a Fit Out CAD Designer to join their in-house design team. This is a full-time, office-based role with occasional travel for site coordination and project meetings.
You will be involved across a range of commercial interior projects, supporting the design and delivery of office, retail and wider fit-out schemes. Working closely with project managers, site teams and clients, you will translate design intent into accurate and buildable drawings. The position suits someone who is confident producing shopfitting furniture details, layouts, elevations and technical drawing packs for manufacture.
Day-to-day, you will produce 2D and 3D designs for interior fit-out projects, developing drawings from early concepts through to final workshop and manufacturing packages. You will interpret architectural information, support space planning work, and ensure all drawings meet both company standards and client specifications. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment with close collaboration between design and delivery teams.
Key Requirements
- Strong 2D and 3D CAD skills, ideally using AutoCAD
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and client briefs with accuracy
- Experience producing technical layouts, elevations and workshop drawings
- Previous interiors or shopfitting experience preferred, though a strong Architectural Technician background is equally suitable
