Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with a civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Bromborough. Our client specialises in construction projects locally and nationally within the residential blocks, commercial, retail and hotel sectors.

Due to ongoing high demand we are assisting them in recruiting for a CAD Technician to assist the Structural Engineers with technical drawings. For this role you will be using AutoCAD to produce structural floor plans, sections and elevations. You will mainly be working on steel and reinforced concrete structures ranging from large industrial complexes to low rise residential buildings.

The role will also see you working on the civil aspects including producing drainage layouts.

This is a varied role and as you will be working as part of a small business, you will be required to manage your workload effectively whilst clearly communicating with engineers, consultants and project managers.

For this role you will ideally have a full drivers licence and your own car as the occasional site visit will be required to meet clients and carry out site surveys.
